REGLEMENT
Konkurssi korraldab Väike-Maarja Muusikaselts ja Opera Veto koostöös Vello Jürna perekonna ning Väike-Maarja Vallavalitsusega.
Konkursil saavad osaleda 18–35 aastased (vanust arvestatakse 1. september 2020 seisuga) Eesti kodanikud ja Eestis alaliselt elavad ning õppivad välismaalased.
Registreerimine
Registreerimise viimane kuupäev on 1. oktoober 2020.
Osavõtutasu on 25€ (Väike-Maarja Muusikaseltsi a/a EE042200221050501574, märksõna V. Jürna nim konkurss 2020)

Korraldaja tagab igale osalejale pianisti. Pianisti vajadusest teatada korraldajale hiljemalt 1 kuu enne eelvooru – tähtaeg 26.10.2020. Lubatud on kasutada ka isiklikku pianisti. Muudatusi konkursi kavas saab teha kuni 1 kuu enne eelvooru – tähtaeg 26.10.2020.
Eelvooru ja I vooru kestvus võib olla maksimaalselt 10 minutit, II vooru kestvus võib olla maksimaalselt 20 minutit.
Konkursi kava:
Eelvoor 1 ooperiaaria (vabal valikul)
1 soololaul (vabal valikul)
I voor 1 ooperiaaria (eelvoorust erinev)
1 Eesti helilooja soololaul vabal valikul
II voor 2 ooperiaariat (I ja II voorust erinevad)
1 soololaul vabal valikul (erinev eelmistest voorudest)
• Kõik voorud toimuvad klaveri saatel ja on publikule avatud.
• Osaleja peab oma kavas läbivalt kasutama kolme erinevat keelt.
• Programmis olevad aariad ja laulud esitatakse peast, originaalkeeles ja -helistikus.
• Ooperiaariad esitada koos sellele eelneva retsitatiiviga.

Korraldajal ja sponsoritel on õigus välja anda eriauhindu.
Eelvalik
Saadetud materjalide põhjal teeb korraldaja poolt määratud žürii (3 liiget) eelvooru pääsejad teatavaks hiljemalt 10. oktoobriks 2020.
Esinemisjärjekorra loosimine
Esinejate järjekord loositakse eelvoorule eelneval päeval, 25. novembril 2020 (kõik osalejad on kohustatud osalema loosimisel) Eesti Muusika- ja Teatriakadeemias. Kaasa võtta isikut tõendav dokument.

Tulemused
Edasipääsejate nimed avaldatakse pärast igat vooru kohapeal, konkursi FB lehel ja personaalne teade saadetakse osaleja e-postile.
Meedia
Korraldajal on piiramatu õigus teha konkursist meediaülekandeid (raadio, televisioon, live-ülekanded) ja edastada salvestisi internetis (Facebook, YouTube). Ülekannete õigused kuuluvad korraldajale.
Muu info
Konkursiga seotud reisi- ja majutuskulud kannab osaleja.
Lauljad võivad osaleda konkursil igal aastal, kuid mitte rohkem kui kolm korda.
I, II ja III preemia saanud lauljad ei saa osaleda järgneva aasta konkursil.
RULES OF COMPETITION
The competition is organized by Väike-Maarja Music Society and Opera Veto in cooperation with Vello Jürna’s family and Väike-Maarja Municipality Government.
The competition is open to singers between the ages of 18-35 (as of September 1, 2020) who are Estonian citizens, permanent residents of Estonia and foreign students studying in Estonia.

The final day of registration is October 1, 2020.

The pianist will be provided for all participants, but participant is free to bring a pianist of his/her own choice at his/her own expense. The need of a pianist is to be announced to the organizer at the latest 1 month before qualifying round – deadline 26.10.2020. The changes to the repertoire list can be made until 1 month before qualifying round – deadline 26.10.2020. Entire duration of performance in qualifying and 1st round must not exceed 10 minutes, in 2nd round the time limit is 20 minutes.
Competition program:
Qualifying round 1 opera aria (of participant’s own choice)
1 lied or solo song (of participant’s own choice)
1st round 1 opera aria (different from previous round)
1 song by an Estonian composer (different from previous round)
2nd round 2 opera arias (different from previous rounds)
1 lied or solo song (different from previous rounds)
• All rounds are with piano accompaniment and are open to the public.
• The repertoire must include works sung in at least three languages.
• The arias and songs in repertoire list are to be sung from memory in the original key and original language.
• Opera arias have to be performed with recitativos.

First prize 1500 €
Second prize 1000 €
Third prize 500 €
The organizers and sponsors have the right to award additional prizes.
Pre-selection
The jury (of 3 members) appointed by the organizers will announce the selected contestants for the preliminary round by October 10th at the latest.
Ballot for the order of performance
The draw for the order of performance will take place the day before the qualifying round on November 25, 2020 (all participants are required to be present) in Eesti Muusika- ja Teatriakadeemia / Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre. Participants must have with them an identity document.

1st round
November 28, 2020 in Kiltsi Manor (Väike-Maarja Parish)
2nd round and final concert
November 29, 2020 in Väike-Maarja Seltsimaja.
Notification
The singers accepted to the next round will be announced after each round on the spot, on the FB page of the competition and by a personal message sent to participants e-mail.
Media
All rounds of the competition will be open to the public and may be recorded and broadcast by radio, television and social media channels (Facebook, YouTube). Contestants have no monetary claims on recordings or broadcasts. The organizers reserve all rights for the competition material.
Other information
Accommodation and traveling expenses are covered by participants. The singers may participate in the competition every year, but not more than three times. The winners of I, II and III prize can not take part in the next years’ competition.
